In relation to [[The Front]], I gathered that the ultimate plan would be to build up a business, max out loans, dump the business without paying back the loans (bankruptcy), then have a backup business that was already active as a piggyback to doing it all over again. I assume this is the reason why he refused to dissolve his sole proprietorship (Ernest Fields DBA Millionaire Grind Clothing) and only continue with Grind Global LLC, which was set up in January of 2022. We'd been sued (small claims court) in the past so why wouldn't he want to protect himself from things like this so we could scale up? It's because he didn't actually care about that at all. He didn't care about actual business, but rather, [[Bad Business]]. [[Ernest]] had terrible credit for a long time, which let me know that the loans and credit cards were legitimate, but the real strangeness involving his identity happened when he was "repairing" his credit through some random chick named "Ashley Awkward." She was associated with Terry so I know she was up to no good, no legitimate business and no legal credit repair tactics. Ernest told me that he was using a CPN (Credit Privacy Number) system to help build up his credit and was able to get info texted to his phone that looked almost like a new identity. What's weird is, while looking at his phone one day, I saw one of these "CPN" texts and it had his dad's name on it: Ernest Fields Sr... Was Ernest impersonating his father or stealing his identity? While Ernest was late on loans, fixing his credit, and doing God only knows what else (he was always lying), he would have the branch manager at SunTrust (eventually Truist) freeze his account so more money couldn't be taken out. It was interesting to watch him do this multiple times because I'd never heard of someone being able to just stop other entities from drafting money out of an account. I don't see how this could be legal in any way. When the branch manager that was helping him moved to a different bank (Pinnacle), so did Ernest. It's no surprise that he was using her to do something illegal. What was she receiving in return? Towards the end, Ernest used Grind Global to start payroll through Assure, but this only lasted for a short time. He did so much sketchy back and forth with payroll it would make your mind explode. I'd sometimes have a payment, sometimes not. Sometimes there would be a physical check, sometimes not. Some weeks would be paid through Cash App again ([[Payments]]), some not. This man was totally unorganized, or so it seemed, but I began to realize that he was manipulating things behind the scenes. I don't exactly know what he had done with my information, but I hate that he even had my address. At one point in time he even asked me if he could do my taxes for me and my family. This man was totally insane... There's no way I'd EVER let him do that considering he lied about how much the business brought in every month. He made up numbers like he makes up the truth. Looking back, it was phenomenal to watch and definitely a lesson in what not to do. I still wonder about the things I didn't know. Was he actually scamming the different private loan companies? I wouldn't even be that mad about this considering most of them are committing theft against those they lend to at exorbitant rates, but how exactly was he doing it? Was it just a series of putting blocks or freezes on his bank account so they couldn't withdraw extra info? I also heard him talking about opening up other bank accounts after he received a ~$500,000 EIDL loan, which I can't confirm was true, but did see a check for over $200,000. How did he convince a government entity to give him this much money on a loan considering how slow our business had become? I'm determined to find out all of the details some day, but maybe only after he's dead and I read about it in some news article. Someone with this much sketchy business activity and drug fueled behavior won't be around forever, so I know I'll find out all of the specifics some day.
