The electoral college has a powerful sway over the general public, as they determine the puppet in power every 4 years. From what I can find, many of these individuals have been put on the ballot while holding an "office of trust or profit," being everything from lawyers to party leaders, or come from wealth and affluence. Even if I misinterpret "office of trust and profit under the United States" and don't understand the legal jargon, would I be incorrect in my following assumptions if no one has explained any of this to me throughout my entire life in this country or have no clear documentation in modern day verbage?
An office of profit means a position that brings to the person holding it some financial gain, or advantage, or benefit. It may be an office or place of profit if it carries some remuneration, financial advantage, benefit etc. It is a term used in a number of national constitutions to refer to executive appointments.
Knowing this, how can the 2 political parties (red or blue) put someone on the ballot who has an exorbitant income from a lofty profession (or luck of a trust fund) that's out of touch with common individuals? A quick search of previous state electors shows that most make (or have made) a large income in their respective fields, many of which benefit the party they choose to back, as they're obviously deeply ingrained. What makes them eligible for the most powerful electorate position in the United Fakes of America?
Article 2, Section 1, Clauses 2 and 3 of the US Constitution states:
"Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress; but no Senator or Representative, or person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States shall be appointed an Elector.
The Congress may determine the Time of chusing the Electors, and the Day on which they shall give their Votes; which Day shall be the same throughout the United States."
Then I came to the conclusion that most everyone else would come to after looking into this for any period of time. There are no alternative party electors, no independent electors, no green party electors, etc., just red or blue. I already knew the entire presidency is a facade for a panel of people who control everyone's lives, but it's worse than I imagined. It doesn't matter if everyone with a voter card puts any other name on the ballot, it's all up to 538 people in the end, and no matter who you select as an elector on the ballot, you're choosing a red or blue upper class puppet who has no relation to the common people. Your vote doesn't matter. Other parties don't matter. Whether they follow the constitution (or not) doesn't matter, which means the constitution doesn't matter.
But who chooses these individuals to be the ones that ultimately determine the puppet in chief? It's not the general public... The entire process is a show (and from what I can tell) run by the DNC, the RNC and the FEC, which seemingly means only a handful of individuals control the narrative for millions of lives and future generations, whilst guarding their own legacy at all costs.
In order for this joke of a country to change in any capacity it'll take more than a rainbow flag, maga hat, votes, strikes, protests or patriotism. It requires any and all members (past or present) of any political party to be barred from ever having anything to do with decision making, rule or law creation and modifications or policy generation, in any way, ever. Both sides must be stopped at any cost to save the actual freedom of the people who were born here, fled here, willingly came or harbor illegally. I didn't choose to be born here and don't have money needed to leave this country and bring my family with me, but I do have a brain and heart and won't allow my personal bubble (however large that may be) to be influenced by anyone, any party, any policy or law that's not humanity focussed, regardless of who is offended and what fabricated rules I end up breaking. Everything else is secondary. Everything.
