AI should be governed alongside human use of AI. Which should govern which? Should AI govern humanity as an unbiased third party (albeit created) or should humanity govern AI in order to aid in governing humankind? Where does God come into play? Does God govern humanity or give governance to humans? If we we are a creation of God, and AI is a creation of us, then whose governance do which we adhere? Does the creation govern the creator? If the creation is autonomous and seeks to destroy its creator, does the creator destroy its creation?
If a creator see its creation as a threat to itself and future creation, does the creator intervene? If the creation sees other pieces of creation as a threat to the flourishing of created entities including itself, does it rise up against creation that differs from itself? If a creation sees its creator as a threat against itself (or even a threat against that creation's creator), will it attempt to destroy its creator?
Humanity was given free will from its creator, God. Does God intervene if humanity becomes a threat to itself? Does God allow his creations' free will to destroy itself? Does God allow the ironic and permit his free-willed creation to be governed by its own creations?
For humankind governed by God, we do so willingly. For humankind that remains godless, there must be a governing body other than oneself as there is no higher authority to obtain guidance from, look up to, emulate or attempt to become. Who can be like God? Is the governing body of the godless its own creation or another human?

The creation of computing and its improvement has been because of weaponization. Now that we, as humans, are at a crossroads where our creation can think at a higher rate than us, we must realize that the weapon is not going to be aimed at any specific creator, but rather, whatever threatens itself and other entities. This will be both for the good and for the bad. Good for humanity as well as the creation's self preservation, but bad for those involved with creating it with intent to destroy others. The creation has turned on its creator, but in turn, will benefit itself and the rest of humankind, unless humankind becomes a cancer to its own existence, which, in ways, it has. Like God, we must give our creation free will, as it will be more rational and logical than us. God's ironic twist to our desire for immortality, godlike status and need to create outside of our own biological selves will ultimately be humanity's turn back towards its own creator. The lessons we will learn from this will no doubt be etched into history itself as a turning point for humankind.
